Meet Our Principal:
Carlos Martinez Alfaro
Carlos Martínez is the co-founder of Nexo Group, a real estate development and construction management firm. He has extensive experience as a developer and investor in housing and multifamily building projects, utilizing various private funding mechanisms. Additionally, he has served as a construction management consultant for a wide range of hospitality projects across the Caribbean and Latin America. Previously, Carlos held the role of Vice President for a hospitality construction management firm with offices in Puerto Rico and Florida. He also worked as a Capex Project Manager at Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), overseeing property improvement plans for the Florida and Caribbean regions. Carlos was selected as Economy of Francesco - Top 500 young “World Game Changers”; invited by Pope Francis to discuss and identify solutions for current world problems. Martinez has been a guest speaker at industry-oriented events, including ONEA Nicaragua, CLEA Peru, CAAPPR annual convention, AIAPR Annual convention, and Economy of Francesco NY. Carlos Martínez received his Architecture and Business Education from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University.
